OnDemand Solutions is seeking a senior "Software as a Service" (SaaS) technology consultant to assist clients with the design and development of SaaS deployments. The ideal candidate for this position will have 7-10 years of experience developing hosted applications using both J2EE and Microsoft technologies. This individual will have a strong desire to assist clients who are migrating existing applications to the SaaS model or developing SaaS applications for the first time.

The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience spanning the following skill sets: system administration, application server administration, application architecture, and application development.

This position will be well suited for a highly motivated individual contractor who enjoys working on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients in the design and development of SaaS applications
Appropriately select relevant technologies and providers based on client needs.
Develop written reports summarizing technical recommendations relevant to SaaS deployments
Appropriately manage the technical aspects of SaaS deployments
Function as a technical expert in the SaaS space and possess expert level knowledge relevant to the technical aspects of SaaS deployments

Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
A minimum of 7 years or relevant SaaS experience
A minimum of 5 years experience developing SaaS applications
Specific experience developing and deploying SaaS applications in a minimum of one industry vertical
Experience managing junior programming resources either in-house or off-shore
Strong technical and communication skills
Excellent leadership, organization, teamwork, and client service skills
